This series explores my new life as a wife- which is something that I always wanted. I was privileged to see my parents love and respect each other my entire life, and I dreamed of having the same. I was married to my sweet diamond of a husband, Chris, on November 7th of, 2022, and it has been such a crazy joy!

It is easy for artists to create out of pain, sadness, loss... I have also done the same in the past. But with this shiny new chapter that I am living, I want to immortalize it in color and shape. Being playful and focused. Playing it by ear and planning. Tearful laughter and comfortable silence. 

It was said that if an artist falls in love with you, you will live forever. With every completed piece, I have poured my energy of delight into each brushstroke and each color choice. Rotating the canvases was also a major part of my process. The paintings are an extension of myself in the truest form.
